(Luke 18.27Open Link in New Window) Father God, I am encouraged today with the knowledge that what is impossible with men is possible with you. (Num. 23.19Open Link in New Window) You are not a man that you should lie. You speak and then act. Your promises are fulfilled.

(Jn. 16.33Open Link in New Window) In this world we will have trouble. But we take heart for we have overcome the world. (1 Jn. 4.4Open Link in New Window) We have overcome because the one who is in us is greater than the one that is in the world. (Micah 7.8Open Link in New Window) Do not gloat over us, our enemy. Though we have fallen, we will rise. Though we sit in darkness, the Lord will be our light.

(Rom. 8.18Open Link in New Window) We consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us. (2 Chr. 20.17Open Link in New Window) We will not have to fight this battle. We will take up our positions, stand firm and see the deliverance the Lord will give us. (Rom. 8.27Open Link in New Window) In all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. (Phil. 4.13Open Link in New Window) We can do everything through Him who gives us strength.

(Rom. 8.31Open Link in New Window) I boldly proclaim that if God is for me, who can be against me? (Mark 9.23Open Link in New Window) I am aware that everything is possible for him who believes. (1 Sam. 12.16Open Link in New Window) I will, therefore, stand still and see the great things you are about to do before my eyes.

(James 1.4Open Link in New Window) I will allow perseverance to finish its work so that I will be mature and complete, not lacking anything. (Josh. 1.9Open Link in New Window) I will be strong and courageous. I will not be terrified or discouraged for the Lord my God is with me wherever I go. (2 Tim. 2.1Open Link in New Window) I will be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. (2 Tim. 1.13Open Link in New Window) I will keep the pattern of sound teaching with faith and love. (Col. 3.2Open Link in New Window) I set my mind on things above, not on earthly things. (Col. 3.23Open Link in New Window) Whatever I do, I will work at it with all my heart as working for the Lord, not for men.

(1 Chr. 22.18Open Link in New Window) O Lord, you have granted us rest on every side. (2 Tim. 4.5Open Link in New Window) We will keep our head in all situations, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, and discharge all duties of our ministries. (2 Tim. 4.7Open Link in New Window) We will continue fighting the good fight; we will finish the race and keep the faith.

(Rom. 8.28Open Link in New Window) We know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His promises. (Phil. 1.6Open Link in New Window) We are confident that He who began a good work in us will carry in on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. (Rom. 8.39Open Link in New Window) Nothing will be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

(Phil. 4.4Open Link in New Window) Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!

The power of prayer

by on Jun.16, 2010, under From the desk of Pastor B

Beloved,

I am calling all members who believe in the power of prayer to join me in the sanctuary tonight for a time of prayer to Almighty God.  Tonight our prayer focus will be from the book of Zechariah. James wrote “the prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective” (James 5.15Open Link in New Window).  Let’s do something power and effective tonight.  Let’s pray together.
