Jim Brummett and his wife, Gina, have led Southwest First Assembly of God since 1992. Serving has been a way of life for the Brummett family. Pastor Jim is a second-generation minister and received his formal training at Southwestern Assemblies of God University and Assemblies of God Theological Seminary. He has served congregations in worship, youth ministry and Christian education. The Brummetts are also actively involved in the ministry of Teen Challenge (faith-based drug and alcohol recovery) with Jim serving on the board and Gina serving as Operations Director of Teen Challenge of the Rocky Mountains. They have two grown children and are proud grandparents! The Brummets believe that God’s promises are for everyone. On a typical Sunday, truth is presented clearly, worship is led by the Spirit, and the power of God is experienced. Pastor Jim has issued a prophetic call to the congregation and community for repentance, faith and action; in lieu of fear, contentment and complacency. The Brummetts are committed to helping individuals findan authentic relationship with their Creator and growing in a purposeful relationship with Him. Emails: pastor@swfirst.org; grbrummett@msn.com
